Performance celebrating space & memory

Parlour Geometrique
was a live art event exploring the idea of Chiswick House as embodiment the utopian dwelling, detached from the domestic sphere and immersed in the symbolic.
The layout of the house and gardens is structured through an almost oneiric series of glimpses, whispers, and veiled vantage points, with the house sitting at its centre like a camera obscura; its rooms reflecting the ideals of the views that radiate from its windows. Parlour Geometrique presented new site-specific works from fifteen contemporary live artists which drew inspiration from these aspects of the house and gardens, their history, and the vision behind them. Each work folding into a immersive extension of the surrounding atmosphere, inviting exploration
